The school badly needs modern classrooms to provide a healthy environment for the young children. By next year, the school will need at least 11 permanent classrooms, an office, and a proper staffroom. The current semi-permanent house is falling apart and needs to be brought down and a new tuition block of at least six classrooms put up on a priority basis. Funds being available, this could take the form a storey building to save on the limited space for children’s playing.

A library would also come in handy to improve on the children’s reading skills. The importance of reading cannot be gainsaid. The absence of a library has contributed to the poor maintenance and storage of the school text books generously donated to us by UKAid in 2011. A library will no doubt help achieve our educational goals.
